Sarcoma: ASCO Tumor Boards

This free course presents a case of a 46-year-old woman diagnosed with an intermediate grade sarcoma in her lower leg. The activity focuses on the sequencing of surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy in the management of this patient.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply knowledge learned regarding the proper work up of a patient with a presumed sarcoma
  • Improve patient care by appropriately utilizing the role and sequencing of surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy in the management of a patient with a sarcoma
  • Enumerate some of the known pathways that can be used as potential targets in the new therapies of sarcoma.
