This is a case-based activity that includes discussion of a 41-year-old female African American with a 2.1 cm high grade triple negative cancer. Along with the patient case, there is a discussion board on ASCO Connection, where users can post comments/questions to each other and to the faculty. At the end of this course you should be able to:
- Apply current systemic therapy regimen for triple negative breast cancer
- Analyze the role for postmastectomy radiotherapy and identify patients who are most likely to benefit
- Evaluate the issues and challenges to integrating reconstruction with delivery of adjuvant cancer therapies
