This is a case-based activity that includes discussion of a 68-year-old man who presents with palpable cervical lymphadenopathy. He is a farmer with a past medical history only notable for squamous cell of skin. Along with the patient case, there is a discussion board on ASCO Connection, where users can post comments/questions to each other and to the faculty. At the end of this course you should be able to:
- Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors in Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL).
- Discuss the tradeoffs between intensive and non intensive treatment strategies in MCL
- Understand the setting in which maintenance rituximab has proven efficacy
- Describe the most active novel agent for relapsed MCL
