1. Where can I get my CME Certificate or Certificate of Participation?

A: Please go to the ASCO CME Portal (http://cmeportal.asco.org/)  and enter in your badge ID or ASCO.org username and password.

Directions : On the home screen of the CME Portal, you must first select the meeting from the drop down menu before entering your badge ID. From there, you can follow the steps below to claim your credit:

  • Select the Claim More Credit green button.
  • Filter by date or select all dates to display.
  • Select the session by clicking on the title, select percent of time (e.g. 100%) spent, and press save.
  • Continue selecting sessions, assigning corresponding credit, and then press Get Certificate when done.
  • Print or save certificate in PDF.

 2. Where can I claim my credit for the ASCO meeting?

A: Please go to the ASCO CME Portal (http://cmeportal.asco.org/)  and enter in your badge ID or ASCO.org username and password.

 3. Where can I get my Certificate of Attendance?

A: Please go to the Registrar’s Office on ASCO University: (http://university.asco.org/certificates ) and select the Certificate of Attendance link.  From the ASCO University home page (university.asco.org), you can also click the Certificates tab to access this function.

4. Where can I find my ASCO.org username and password?

A: Please go to http://www.asco.org/user/password

5. Which certificate may I use to obtain CEU’s/CE credit?

A: ASCO meetings are currently not designated for any other credit besides CME. All nonphysician attendees are welcome to submit a request for a Certificate of Participation, through the submission process, which may enable nonphysicians to apply their participation toward re-licensure. Please note, however, that all final decisions regarding the awarding of credits will be made by the licensing organization to which the credits were submitted. Any questions related to CME may be directed to ASCO Staff at cme@asco.org or 571-483-1403

6. I am a nonphysician which certificate can I use?

A: All nonphysician attendees are welcome to submit a request for a Certificate of Participation using the CME Portal.  This certificate may enable nonphysicians to apply their participation toward re-licensure. 7. I am receiving a technical error on the site.

8. I want to give feedback about the meeting who can I contact?
A: Any feedback related to CME/Evaluations may be directed to ASCO Staff at cme@asco.org or 571-483-1403.


9.  I lost my certificate from 2010 or previous can you help obtain it?
A: ASCO only maintains the past seven (7) years of certificates on file per AMA requirements.  If  the certificate is for an event that occurred between 2008 and 2010, please call to ASCO Staff at cme@asco.org or 571-483-1403. 


10.   I lost my badge ID can you please look it up for me.
A:  Yes.  Please contact ASCO staff at cme@asco.org or 571-483-1403.


11.   I received an error message when I log into the CME Portal site that my log in is not valid.
A: Please  call to ASCO Staff at cme@asco.org or 571-483-1403.
