Breast Cancer MOC Module

Breast Cancer MOC

The ASCO Breast Cancer Module consists of 25 multiple-choice questions which include patient case information, educational links and answer rationales. This activity is a tool for self-assessment of medical knowledge as it relates to breast cancer. After successful completion of this activity, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) diplomates are eligible to receive 10 points toward the required 20 in self-evaluation of medical knowledge. Participants can also earn a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ .

 

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify knowledge and practice gaps relating to breast cancer;
  • Apply knowledge learned toward an enhanced ability to identify breast cancer risks and recommend effective interventions for individual patients;
  • Demonstrate participation in life-long learning and enhancement of competence as required in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification process.

General Oncology MOC Module

General Oncology MOC

The ASCO General Oncology Module consists of 30 multiple-choice questions which include patient case information, educational links to ASCO-SEP, Journal of Clinical Oncology and PubMed and answer rationales. This activity is a tool for self-assessment of medical knowledge as it relates to general oncology. After successful completion of this activity, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) diplomates are eligible to receive 10 points towards the required 20 in self-evaluation of medical knowledge. Participants can also earn a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

 

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and address knowledge gaps toward improved competence in general oncology practice;
  • Apply knowledge gained to the treatment of individual patients, as appripriate;
  • Demonstrate participation in life-long learning and enhancement of knowledge as required in the ABIM Maintenance of Certification process.

Participants can also earn a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ .
