This introductory course covers all of the basics for new staff with billing and coding responsibilities. The primary goal of this module is to provide basic information to educate and test knowledge on the appropriate coding for oncology related services. It provides an overview of Medicare’s coverage and reimbursement policies and while not based on Practical Tips for the Oncology Practice, 5th edition, reference is made as a support resource along with content from other resources.
